Who we are
Destination specialists, not box-tickers
Crafted Africa was founded on Lake Malawi in 2010 by a small team of guides and travellers who believed southern Africa deserved a more thoughtful kind of operator — one that knew its lodges personally, walked its trails regularly, and built trips around the traveller, not the brochure.
Fifteen years on, that's still how we work. We're based on the ground in the countries we sell, and every itinerary leaves our office having been written by someone who has slept in the bed, eaten the breakfast and met the guide.
