About

Oddballs Enclave

Oddballs’ Enclave is a secluded and intimate safari camp located on a small island off the south-western edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta and bordering Moremi Game Reserve. Accessible only by light aircraft, guests are greeted by their private guide who will accompany them throughout their stay. The camp offers luxurious accommodation in five mini-Meru tents, each with an elevated deck, semi-detached private bathroom, and an al fresco bucket shower with hot and cold running water. With a maximum capacity of 10 guests, Oddballs’ Enclave provides a classic and intimate safari experience, perfect for small groups or families. The camp's guest areas feature comfortable seating and a raised viewing deck overlooking the Okavango Delta, offering spectacular views for sunrise, moonrise, and wildlife viewing. Meals are enjoyed on the deck, further enhancing the scenic experience. Guests will spend their days exploring the delta by mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) and on guided walks with their private local guide, focusing on the abundant game, birdlife, and the ecosystem as a whole. The emphasis is on peace, tranquility, and a deep connection with nature. Oddballs’ Enclave is committed to responsible tourism. The camp is powered by solar energy, hot water is heated by solar panels, and they pride themselves on being free of engines or motors. They have a strong bond with the local Sedibana village, providing support and employment opportunities, and have established a Tree Welfare program to protect the indigenous trees from elephants, ensuring the preservation of this unique ecosystem for future generations.
