Tafika Camp, nestled on the tranquil east bank of the Luangwa River, offers an unparalleled bush experience. Accommodation at Tafika Camp comprises six spacious chalets crafted from natural materials, each featuring en suite facilities. These charming chalets are built around the trunks of majestic sausage and leadwood trees, offering a unique blend of comfort and immersion in nature. The camp caters to various needs with twin double bed chalets, a romantic honeymoon suite with a king-size bed, and a family suite featuring a king-size and two double beds, complete with an add-on hide overlooking the camp's waterhole. With a seasonal operation from May 1st to November 15th, Tafika Camp promises an intimate safari experience with minimal congestion, allowing guests to fully connect with the wild heart of Africa. Adding to the unique experience, Tafika Camp boasts two hides, providing exceptional game viewing opportunities between activities. The camp waterhole, a magnet for elephants, bushbuck, puku, impala, mongoose, and various bird species, offers continuous wildlife spectacle. The camp also prides itself on its long-standing, experienced staff and guides, ensuring authentic and safe close encounters with wild animals, all while adhering to tried and tested safety protocols. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of amenities such as solar communal charging, USB ports in chalets, solar fans, and limited Wi-Fi, enhancing comfort without detracting from the wilderness experience.
